Hi Guys, That was a nice presentation. I exclusively use trade Station for analysis and Trading. Over the 12 yrs I tried to see if any of the automated trading strategies within trade Station work.DISASTER. I tried some third party. They work for couple of days and then disaster. So I finally settled on semi Automated strategy where I activate the trend lines either to sell or buy and it has a stop line and profit line which can be dragged to different levels as the market moves and can also make it to reverse by changing the color of the line.
My point of this communication is..I have an automated strategy based on momentum charts, It looks perfect when I first load the chart but as data keeps updating chart gets choppy and takes in and out ofcourse with losses. I refresh with control/R everything looks great.
I have not learned easy language and lack of time and lack of aptittude.

Is there any to make the momentum charts keep updating before strategy executes signals. trade station says it can not be done. the gentleman who wrote the program for me says it can not be done.
Since you are exeperts in automated strategies I would like to know if it can be done. Other option is to incorporate a TIME delay to execute the trade after the signal is fired.

I will greatly appreciate your response..
    Thank you

Is your system taking setups only when a momentum bar closes? That is really the key to having something be replicatable. If you are having trades setup intrabar you will likely run into the issue you mention.
